This model is good for people with a home size of 500-1,500sqft and shouldn't be used in homes any larger. The Canavac 250-L Central Vacuum System is the only model in the Canavac Central Vacuum line up that doesn't have the option to have a muffler.

The Canavac 399-L Central Vacuum System is a great system for those looking to have an excellent quality motor with lots of suction at a great price.
This model is great for people with a home size of 1,000-3,500sqft and shouldn't be used in homes any larger. The Canavac 399-L is considered a loud model due to not having a muffler included with the system. You can however order a muffler with the system for an additional $20. The Canavac 399-L Central Vacuum System comes with a 10 year motor warranty.
